Your first formula

+ − × ÷ with cell references

Maya knows what she sold, but not what she earned. Let's teach the sheet to do the maths.

Every formula starts with an equals sign (=). That's how the sheet knows you want it to calculate, not just store text.

Use + to add, - to subtract, * to multiply and / to divide. (The × and ÷ keys aren't on your keyboard, so spreadsheets use * and /.)

Point to cells instead of typing numbers: =E2*F2, not =6*18. If Maya changes a price, every formula updates by itself.
